Let’s get started. The first door type I want to show you is called Low-Pressure Laminate. Something like this. So, the one I’m holding here, as you can see, is a nice, beautiful white wood, matte finish.
This is what we call, Low-Pressure Laminate doors. Also known as Melamine Doors. Also known as Lamiwood Doors. Some people just call it, Laminate Doors.
What is Low-Pressure Laminate Doors?
Low-Pressure Laminate Doors literally are just decorative printed sheets of paper, which gets heat pressed onto moisture resistant MDF. Then you get something like this, once it’s done.
It comes in a variety of different colours, as you would expect because it is all printed decorative sheets. So, you can get a wood matte finish like this. You can get shiny doors. You can get non-shiny doors. Sometimes, you can even get textured doors, as well.
Some of our door suppliers have wood grain finished doors, which is textured, so you actually can feel the wood grain crevices, I guess, on the doors, which is pretty cool. Variety of different thicknesses. Comes in 16mm and 18mm. That’s Low-Pressure Laminate, okay.
What is the Cost of Low-Pressure Laminate Doors?
In terms of cost, this is definitely the most cost-effective solution. Personally, I think it looks really, really nice, especially if paired up with some really good looking handles, and a nice simple bench top. It can come out a treat.
So, guys, just because you hear we’ve got Melamine or Laminate Doors, do not run away. It can actually look really, really good for your kitchen, especially for those on a budget. So, please, do not run away from this product. It is an exceptional, very cost-effective, beautiful product.
