Our experience with Dream Doors Kitchens was first class from beginning to finished job .great communication,trades were very professional carried out in a timely manner very pleased

7 to 10 days we were told. 1. A cabinet installer who was not trained who caused damage to many panels and part of our wall. 7 weeks for reordering and Xmas shut down. 2. Stone benches stuck on wharf/ordered new colour, arrived with marks, reorder again , Xmas shutdown weeks reordering. then dropped on floor causing bad damage to tiles. 3. Sink arrived, wrong size. Next sink, tap hole on wrong side. Third sink, bigger than last causing plumber extra work resizing hole etc. 4. Stone benches installers damaging 3 walls in powder room. At least 15 scratches and holes. They also damaged new cupboards with glue, had to be reordered. 5. Splash back arrived damaged, another reorder. 6. New shelving arrived one thin one thick, reorder, they came back damaged, reorder again. 6. Finally finishing off, installers damaged stone benchtop (small hole). Luckily could be repaired. Months and months later with Xmas break included ( was told it would be finished before Xmas) it’s finished. Happy with final look apart from damaged tiles on floor. Used this company due to great reviews, use them again, no thanks.

The team at Dream Doors Kitchens Melbourne North were lovely to deal with, and I am really pleased with their work. They were able to give a really good uplift to my old kitchen. Very happy with the outcome.

Nightmare Doors Kitchens Accepted quote and went in and chose colours and handles etc. Had the check measure, and was then advised I needed to pick my handles (which I had already done). Next the sign off sheet came through which I had queries on with missing items, had them all added on and in the process they deducted 2 handles off for no reason. It took 3 days, multiple emails, calls and texts to get the order changed back to how it was at the start. I then received the 3rd instalment invoice and they've jacked up the price on me. They turned around and said it was because I changed the number of handles. No, this company incorrectly changed the number of handles and then charged me to change them back to the original number. Then install came around and 4 doors have been measured the wrong size and 2 are damaged and they need a 3rd install day. Third install they install the incorrectly cut doors with just screws and no hinges, and the completely wrong coloured handles. They turned up 6 hours late to change the handles over, a 10 minute job, knowing I don't live at the property and had to sit around and wait. 2 weeks on and house is going on the market and they are not responding with a rectification date despite multiple texts, emails, phone calls. Texted the owner Tracey on 13th, 14th & twice on 22nd April (and called) and not once has she had the decency to respond to me. Edit: Tracey had the decency to respond after this review was left albeit with some abusive messages and threats to further delay. Demanded I pay in advance for the balance even when one of the doors wasn't ready. Had to pay cash to the installer who didn't have change and despite twice asking for a refund have not been forthcoming, small money but just principal of the matter. They still haven't been forthcoming in providing a warranty either. I've been told in no uncertain terms not to chase them for things as they do things when they feel like it, so we will see if it ever comes. Lastly, the final door, the plastic it came in was just dumped on the front lawn and the door installed was the dirtiest door you have even seen, took 3 goes to clean it. Just a petty woman in charge and it became clear the staff are just doing as told, glad to be out the other side of it albeit minus the warranty.

Andrew and the team are absolute treasures! They are professional and reliable and give amazing results. Used them for a few kitchen now and they were incredible every time. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience with rude Preston staff who were abrupt and insulting. they also quoted a ridiculous price for a facelift. Wouldn't use them if they were the last kitchen renovators on the planet

I had a brilliant experience with Dream Doors Preston Victoria. From the initial design and measure visit with Brett to completion, everything went smoothly. The quality of the doors and soft close parts are excellent. We had our kitchen completed in August 2025 and we haven't had any issues with the workings of the draws etc. After the initial design session we attended their showroom which was sufficiently stocked with all samples so we could see first hand what we wanted for our kitchen remodel. Lili from their office kept us informed as well as communicated each step until the completion. She got back to us whenever we had a question. The initial installers Connor and Ben were on time and answered all questions. They were respectful of our granite bench top and covered it during removal of the old doors and installation of our the new doors. They were true to their word on the dates they would attend. I wouldn't hesitate employing this companies services in future. I couldn't fault them.

Andrew from Dream Doors Melbourne South East was excellent from first quote to final certificate. Everything they said they would do was completed and even finished early. George our Installer left the kitchen immaculate after both installation days. He was friendly professional and lovely to have doing my kitchen. Make sure you ask for him to be your installer I can’t recommend Andrew and George highly enough. Don’t bother going anywhere else.

From the moment we contacted DDK we experienced a very high level of customer focus and satisfaction. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen benches and everyone we encountered from DDK were more than willing to help us achieve our goal for the kitchen. The installer, Tony, was friendly, very experienced and focused on delivering a quality product. His workmanship was excellent. The new kitchen benches are spot on, and that’s all due to the excellent team at DDK.

Just had a kitchen and laundry facelift and couldn’t be happier. The entire team from start to finish were brilliant. Totally professional, great communication at every stage and a very fair price. I found everyone I dealt with to be both professional and helpful. Their time line was spot on, and the guys who did the actual installation were excellent . Could not have been happier. Everyone who has seen the kitchen has nothing but positive remarks.

This review is in relation to work completed by Dreams Doors in 2021 (it's taken us a while to write our review). Our initial appointment and engagement with Brett and the team was good and we looked forward to our kitchen makeover. Unfortunately we were left highly disappointed in the process that unfolded to finish our kitchen. The team made an error on the first day of installation, widening our fridge space to the right instead of to the left as per the plans. They cut into our window frame to do this (which you think one would check before doing) and it left an obvious gap on the other side. The most disappointing aspect was that they weren't forthcoming disclosing this mistake. This delayed the rest of the work, which was then impacted by one of the Melbourne lockdowns. The mistake cost us many more weeks than we had been told to expect without a functioning kitchen. Furthermore, Dream Doors management told us they were unable to work during said lockdown but the tradesperson that eventually came to repair some of the work and finish the kitchen said he had been working. We felt disappointed with the communication from the time the error was made. Many of our messages were not responded to promptly and we did not feel like we had good visibility of when and how the kitchen would be finished at the time. We found one of their tradesmen to be very good - helpful, considerate and clear. Unfortunately others showed less respect towards us and our property than we would expect. Overall we are happy with the end kitchen result but it wasn't the experience we hoped for along the way.

DDK took the time to really listen to what I wanted. There were quick to tell me what could and couldn’t work and come up with alternatives. We also loved that the team worked well together and sang along to music whilst working. It showed true teamwork and camaraderie. Very happy with everything. Thank you DDK 🙂

From 1st contact to completion I received extremely professional service from the team They kept me in the loop every step. My kitchen is beautiful and completed in a day & a half. Staff and trades were friendly and updated or consulted me when necessary. No mess for me to clean up after completion. The rubbish removal man even rang to check if he had removed the rubbish to my satisfaction! I highly recommend Brett, Tracey and their team. My next project will be an update of my ensuite - guess who I will be using.
