A really unpleasant experience. A little bit of communication throughout the process when multiple things went wrong would have gone a long way. No plans supplied. Just a big old disappointment. Wish I hadn’t renovated my kitchen at all. Make sure you get proper plans.

Best decision ever! This is a highly professional company. Justin, the owner,  came out and he has the vision to help people like me who are just not sure what works. I had a wishlist which were all met , i.e LED light strip, microwave up higher etc. DDK work closely with plumbers, electrician,  stonetop people and splashback people that they trust for quality and service. Thrilled I didn't have to go looking for tradies to finalise my job. I was given estimates from Justin for these tradies and was within prices so I was within budget. No hidden costs! Justin knows his craft. All tradies know each other, which I found very comforting as a customer.  And they all work so well together. You will love their showroom too! No pressure sell rubbish. I am proud to recommend the DDK team, knowing you will be stoked with the design, quality ,workmanship and service ! My spaces are now so functional due to design. My unit looks sleek yet timeless. I would like to thank Nichole for her excellent customer service and the way she explained how DDK can help with what I want to do with my kitchen. Although it is a smallish kitchen and still Nichole suggested many ways to improve the functionality of the kitchen and what could be done to make my life easier given the size and the poor original design layout of it. Nichole was so approachable and kind of even made it fun in discussing the process and of course step by step of how DDK works in conjunction with what I need to do in a kitchen make over. Also thank you for the speedy quotation with the reasonable and competitive pricing, and the information provided. Although we decided not to go ahead with the renovation for other personal reason, it is certainly not because we are going with another company. In fact, we would have chosen DDK if we were to go ahead with the renovation. The fact Nichole was so friendly and a great help in explaining the process, I feel I just want to make sure those interested in renovating a kitchen to definitely have a look at DDK and give them a consideration. Had Justin come to our house for a quote a couple of months ago. He seemed very motivated to help us with our renovation however we have spent the last eight weeks chasing and chasing a quote. Finally given up. Edit: I see in your response You have mentioned that you have actively been giving me updates. This is not the case at all. I’ve contacted you a number of times and you have assured me you’re going to get back to me. And then I never hear anything.

I received a quote from several kitchen renovation companies and Justin came up with the most innovative solution for our needs and his team delivered a fantastic kitchen for us. We contracted Justin Philpot of Dream Doors Brisbane East to undertake a renovation of our 20 year old kitchen / living area in an apartment purchased a few years prior. The kitchen had ‘good bones’ but was in need of a facelift to bring it into the mid 2020’s. After contacting a number of builders and kitchen renovation specialists, all of whom wanted to completely gut the kitchen and start again, I discovered Dream Doors. The difference with Dream Doors is that they are happy to work with the existing kitchen and renovate it, not completely replace it. In our case we had a very good granite bench top that I didn’t really want to replace - it seemed a waste to do so, not just from a cost, but quality point of view. The layout of the kitchen didn’t really need changing, although I did want a few extra overhead cupboards and a small wall made deeper to accommodate a larger pantry. Instead of ripping everything out Dream Doors removed the old doors and drawers, leaving the carcass of the cupboards in place, installed the extra cupboards / new pantry I wanted and fitted new doors, kick boards and the front panel of our dishwasher. This resulted in a brand new fresh look at a fraction of the price of the alternative quotes. In addition we had a supporting column at the end of the kitchen bench that was hidden in a badly shaped cupboard. The column obviously could not be moved but the cupboard could be so Justin cleverly designed a new cupboard around it. Removing the old cupboard opened up so much space and the redesigned cupboard has become the home for my ironing board, Dyson vacuum etc. The kitchen bench top had an overhang that was originally designed as a breakfast bar, but as we didn’t use it this way Justin designed some slim under bench cupboards to fit in this area, giving even more storage area. We then matched this with a low bench (and more cupboards) in the adjoining living area. This work has completely transformed the look and feel of our kitchen and living area, and has tied the two areas together nicely. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, the finishes are very good quality; easy to clean and maintain. The installer, Reece, was exceptional - he was meticulous with his work. I couldn’t speak highly enough of him. Justin was very good in keeping me informed of the work plan and every one turned up on time and when expected. Overall, we are very happy with the work, and have provided Justin’s details to a couple of our neighbours who also need work done. Cost wise, it is a very affordable way of achieving a good outcome without the need to completely start from scratch. I am very happy to recommend Justin and Dream Doors Brisbane East.
